Women’s Center of Winchester

Patient Resources

Thank you for choosing Women’s Center of Winchester.

If you have scheduled an appointment with us, an email will be sent to you with a patient portal invite. Please fill out your patient forms prior to your visit. Please arrive 30 minutes early if you have not done so. If you have medical insurance, please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment. We copy your card to send with any specimens that are sent to the lab. The lab will file with your insurance company for the processing of these specimens.

If your insurance company is not listed, we will not file a claim for you. We do provide our patients with an itemized encounter to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. We also provide a 10 percent discount for our self-pay patients.

The providers have opted out of Medicare and do not accept Medicaid patients. Medicare patients must sign a waiver acknowledging that we do not file a claim for you, and you cannot bill Medicare for reimbursement for that visit by law.

Please notify our office 24 hours prior to your appointment, or we will charge a $50.00 missed appointment fee.

We look forward to seeing you.

Important Information About Our Fees

Our policy requires full payment at the time of service. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. For high deductible plans and payment plans, we require a credit card to be kept on file for services that are not covered by your insurance. All payment plan balances are expected to be paid within 90 days of treatment.

If we do not participate with your insurance company, we offer a 10 percent discount for your office visit. We reserve the right to request an office visit for prescription refill requests if your last annual visit has been more than 12 months. If the physician calls in a new prescription for a condition diagnosed by a phone consultation, there is a telephone consult fee. This is done for your convenience and will not be filed to your insurance.

Please call us 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if you must change or cancel to allow another patient to have your time. You may leave a message on our answering machine if the office is closed. We charge a fee of $50.00 for appointments not kept or canceled with less than 24-hour notice for our patients. All new patients are asked to leave a credit card on file. If they fail to keep their appointment without notice, a $125.00 fee will be charged.

Transferring medical records is very labor intensive. After you sign and provide us with a release, please allow two weeks to have your records ready to pick up or mail. There will be a fee for the transfer of records.
